About Us

Cabra Coffee
Located minutes from the I-40 along the Turquoise Trail, Cabra is nestled in the trees of Cedar Crest amidst a small but vibrant community and scenic mountain trails.
History
I studied biology at the University of Puget Sound, and of all places, one of the campus coffee shops was my favorite spot. I found myself spending more time ogling the baristas than studying and figured I might as well apply for a job since I was spending so many points on lattes. I worked there until I graduated and it became the highlight of my time at university.
After I graduated, I moved to Nantucket to work with Massachusetts Audubon doing conservation work. I worked by myself, so I got a second job as a barista to interact with the community. The cafe was just being opened by a young couple Jason and Courtney who came to be mentors of mine. Jason taught me all he knew about business and I took to that aspect of the job just as much as making drinks. When I was ready to move back home to Cedar Crest, I decided to pursue coffee instead of biology. There was the cutest little trailer that I thought would make a great coffee shop, and the rest is history!
